Sanjivani pays 75% dues to Karnataka cane farmers

Karnataka-based sugarcane farmers have decided to call off their proposed agitation after Sanjivani Cooperative Sugar Factory cleared a major portion of unpaid dues.

The farmers had planned to block Goan canes from being transported to Khanapur sugar factory. However, the decision to call off the protest would be taken only after the amount is credited to their bank accounts.
